Rainy Season

Today marks the second day of my reemerging habit and my love, writing. Rainy season here in the Philippines will be a friend or a foe to some. Perhaps to farmers it would function as irrigation to the crops. For commuters, it would be a hassle since they'll get wet and usually means more traffic.

I did bench press. I initially was afraid so I regressed the weighr. I was supposed to do 87.5 kg 2x5 but I feel so drained of energy. And was afraid that I might not push the weight upwards. So I did 77.5 kg 6x5 instead. Maybe there's a transition stage after deloading? I don't know.

I hope my knees would cooperate with me as I squat tomorrow. I want to be strong to prove to myself that I can be strong against life's silly dramas. My competition isn't those who boast their PR's. It's me versus my old self. I now track my body composition and planning to graph my progress. Truly, good habits build themselves (what I learned from James Clear's Atomic Habits).

I talked to Coach Noel and asked, "Is there a macros plan that fits for all?" But it's all in the same umbrella that is 'discipline and motivation'. Marothoners would choose to have more carbs. Bodybuilders would want a balance of protein and carbs. And I asked about cutting and bulking cycles. Sheer dedication to the process and the endpoint, that is your "6-pack" dream's requirement.

Truly, you can't reach your dream solely on your own. Directly or indirectly, others would share your victory. Small talks would someday impact you in ways you can't imagine. That's it for now. I'm excited for what is to come next.

Oh, and another, my writing gig earned an inquiry! I hope the transaction would push through and help me on the way to success. My vision to help others share their passion through my writing never falters. I think this is my version of  Naruto's Will of Fire.

   'Til next time! Ciao!

The Return

I decided to ignite my passion once again. For me to polish my writing skills and habit once again, I needed some time to find what's missing in my life without this hobby. Writing gave me the clarity of mind and the freedom to express it. I don't intend to use this blog for marketing or money-making, but I won't be close-minded about it. Doing so would be perfectionist, a long-term goal, which I think for me would be a problem for productivity. I just want to practice and write consistently.

Let this post suffice for now. The rewards it's giving me are priceless. Every minute counts. The long line you wait in grocery store, traffic, bus terminal will drive you nuts. I better do this to make use of idle time. I want to give value to people. I want to live my life with a purpose. If I should do business, the spirit shall be alive in the stories that I write. Because it's an adventure that leaves no stone unturned. Every step teaches you something. This is something I learned from Sheperd Santiago of The Alchemist.

To become the greatest version of myself, that is the goal. When you're close to that destination, the desert will test your wisdom and judgment not because it's evil but to see if you learned the necessary skills to explore more. When you want something, the universe conspires to help you achieve it.

The Yoga I Never Expected to be Needing

The morning I woke up, my muscles feel achy. My shoulders are in pain especially my right. Then I did set my alarm for 10:30 AM. I traded U...
